With the 2nd Husker game of the season just now beginning, perhaps you are still trying to decide what to get for lunch.  If you are in the Omaha area, I have the perfect suggestion.  Ragazzi’s Pizza!  With two metro locations, one is probably near you.   At 5170 S. 72nd near the Ralston Arena and 15475 Ruggles St.  in West Omaha just past Millard, you can find the directions online.  There is even a direct link to Google Maps for easy navigation.

Ragazzi's Pizza Buffet

Previously I was unfamiliar with their pizza until we had our Omaha Blogger’s group social media gathering there the end of July.  They had set up a buffet for us, so we can sample different varieties of pizza.  My favorite was definitely the Polynesian pizza – the sweet Thai chili sauce provided such a fun twist to a traditional Canadian bacon & pineapple pizza.  The addition of scallions and red peppers also added a bit of kick.  I was told that this is one of the customer favorites.  Pizza Bianco was also one that caught my eye – you cannot often order chicken, spinach and artichoke hearts on alfredo sauce at most pizza places.  Yum!

Looking over their menu, they have many original and traditional selections.  With four meats, the Meat Locke would be a family favorite for the guys in my house.  I know that my family would also like their “hotter” pizzas: Amo Pepperoni, featuring hot sauce, and their Buffalo Chicken selection.

Wanting to order more than just pizza?  Ragazzi’s features made-to-order calzones, four pasta varieties and two salad entrees, along with side salad options.  Plus, they have five sandwich selections that you can order with fries.  Plenty of choice for even a family of pickier eaters.  By following them on Facebook, you can keep up to date with their specials.

Finding places to eat with party rooms can be quite challenging.  Our gathering was in the banquet room which is a great option for a larger group.  Plus since they set up a pizza buffet for us at the Ralston location, our meeting felt private as we only had to go out to get drink refills.   If you do not have any place to watch the game,  you can eat in their sizable dining area.  Not into football?  Enjoy the peace and quiet of their patio seating.  Ragazzi’s is a great place to get pizza today!
