Introducing Odyssey Through Nebraska Literature

For a long time, I have been wanting to read more Nebraska literature. Although I had been planning on getting to that this year, with my own book coming out, I could not make that goal happen. But now everything seems to be coming together to make that wish become a reality. The timing seems to work better now. Today I am thrilled to be able to invite you to join a new Facebook group: Odyssey Through Nebraska Literature.

Now there are plenty of book groups out there. But when I looked around the internet, I did not see very many websites that feature Nebraska literature. I did notice that The Nebraska Center for the Book does have some wonderful resources. And of course so do local libraries. But I thought it might be great to have a place where people could discuss Nebraska books. Books that are either set in Nebraska or written by Nebraska authors. Hopefully the Odyssey Through Nebraska Literature Facebook page will develop into that over time.

Tomorrow I will tell you more about the books that I plan on reading in the coming year. But I did not want to start with an empty Facebook page.
