Christmas at the Codys: North Platte’s Buffalo Bill Ranch

Experience Buffalo Bill’s magnificent mansion decked out for the holidays. Buffalo Bill and his wife Louisa loved to entertain visitors. The North Platte community carries on this tradition with Christmas at the Cody’s. Each year non profit organizations decorate each room of the mansion and even spread out into the barn and onto the grounds. Every nook and cranny is decorated to the hilt for the holidays.

The event includes a tour through the mansion with entertainment in the parlor, cookies, cider and roasted chestnuts, a hayride through the grounds, a tour through the barn and a visit with Santa.

Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children 4 – 12. Children 3 and under FREE.

A Nebraska State Park Permit is required for parking on the grounds of the Buffalo Bill State Recreation Area. You will have the opportunity to purchase a daily park permit when you purchase your tickets.

You can either print out your tickets or save them to your smart phone for scanning at the front door. If you print out your ticket for the Nebraska State Park Permit, please place it on the dash of your vehicle. If you save it to your smart phone, just show it at the door.
