Did you realize that today is Nebraska’s 147th birthday of being a state?
Evidently we missed the program that happened yesterday morning at 8 at the Nebraska Capitol building. But who can be anywhere on time with kids that early in the morning anyway? There is a special statehood day event at the capitol, but evidently it is not open to the public?
Thankfully there is a celebration planned today at the Nebraska History Museum (14th & P in Lincoln).
