Official happy birthday to my blog! In honor of my bloGIVErsary, I am kicking off four weeks of giveaways. While post about the “Nebraska Land & Sky” DVD may not have made my top ten list of favorite posts, the aerial shots found in this video have provided some of my FAVORITE shots of Nebraska EVER! Getting to pass on a copy to one of my viewers is a fitting way to kick off year 3 of our odyssey across Nebraska. By watching, you will be inspired as you see all of the places left for you to explore in Nebraska. This is a DVD that you will want to have as a part of your library to enjoy again and again.
I know that I was so impressed by “Nebraska Land & Sky” that I might have been a bit too enthusiastic at the NET open house last summer. If you have seen a woman on one of their commercials wearing a blue & yellow family reunion t-shirt who is not dressed up for television, that would be me. I actually have not ever seen the clip, but I have been told that they have aired it several times. At least I was telling about a great show! In fact, you can watch this clip to see just what I was talking about.
To make winning rather simple, please comment below on the Nebraska place that you most hope to visit someday. I will announce the winner next week. A BIG thank you to Nebraska Educational Television (NET) for donating this video. I appreciate
Someday I hope that I have the time (and energy!) to visit some of the waterfalls in Nebraska. It would also be fun to tank down the Niobrara!
I really like both of your suggestions. I know that Niobrara needs to be our goal soon before our kids are too busy to have time to vacation with us!
I would love to go to toadstool geological park again and all the areas surrounding there.
I would like to tube or tank the Dismal River near Mullen with family and friends.
I am not familiar with the Dismal River. That definitely sounds fun!
Cool that you are on TV! This would make a great gift for my dad!
I want to visit Indian cave state park!
Hmm..after our “big” trip to western NE, I’m not sure what’s next…we saw so much! I do think it would be fun to take a few days and follow the Lewis and Clark or the Oregon Trail. Happy Blogiversary!
I’d like to visit Fort Robinson.
