Being a writer sometimes makes me feel like I am on a deserted island.  Unless people ask, I usually do not talk about my writing.  Yet writing posts/articles has been such a part of my life, that sometimes not sharing what I am doing definitely can be isolating.  This is why I am thankful to be a part of a local group of writers.  Sitting in a room with a group of other bloggers/writers discussing what we do to keep writing is almost like therapy.  Although I have made many online writer friends, connecting face to face adds the important personal element.

Over the next several months, I plan on introducing you to many of these wonderful ladies and their blogs/books.  If their content fits with Nebraska, you will find them here.  Two of them will actually be showing up on this site later on today as they have some great possibilities for Mother’s Day gifts.  If they write more on the spiritual side, you will find them on my Sacred Line site.   I hope that you will take the time to click on to their sites.  You will quickly discover why I am glad to call them friends.
