Want to enjoy a Lincoln Holiday celebration?  Tomorrow the governor gets to light up Nebraska’s state Christmas tree at 2:00. The large, usually locally grown, Christmas tree can be seen in the Nebraska Capitol rotunda area through December.  The actual program will begin at 1:30.

Starting at 1, the two nearby houses (The Ferguson and Kennard homes) will be open for public Lincoln holiday tours.  I have featured both of these homes during previous Decembers.  If you scroll down below, you can see the link.  This year the time has come for me to feature the third one that will also be open to the public for tours.

Governor's Mansion Collage

Did you guess my Lincoln holiday house?  Volunteers decorate the Nebraska Governor’s Mansion for Christmas inside and out.  This beautiful home knows how to celebrate a Lincoln holiday.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a beautiful December day.  If you have not toured these holiday homes or seen the tree lighting ceremony, that could be a lovely way to spend your Sunday afternoon.
