We have come to the last week of my “Blogiversary!” Possibly this is not true for you, but the month of July has just flown by for our family. Hard to believe that school is starting soon! I am really thankful to all of the great Nebraska people & places that have donated items for my giveaways. This last one is no exception for a fun item to win! Presenting theater tickets where the performances are geared toward children!
For over 60 years, the Omaha Theater Company has been bringing theater to life in the Omaha area. Their history has had some interesting twists and turns. Since 1995, they have been a part of productions at the Rose Theater. This list explains many of the possibilities that are available.
The Rose offers:
- A full season of live main stage shows for children and families
- Class for ages 4-18 in acting, directing, playwriting, musical theater, dance, and voice
- Youth programs such as Teens ‘N’ Theater, Rose Brigade, and Transcendtrix
- School field trip shows, touring shows, and educational workshops
Having determined all of their performances this season, this is the list for the …

- The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Sept. 5-21, 2014 - The Cat in the Hat
Oct. 3-19, 2014 - A Wrinkle in Time

On to the giveaway … The Rose Theater is donating vouchers that can be used to ANY show during the 2014-15 Season. I know that I have seen and enjoyed 2 of the shows already, and there are several more that I want to see! I believe that they are donating FOUR vouchers, and I will be confirming this soon! I will update this blog and the Odyssey Through Nebraska Facebook page.
