Not only did I work on a book last summer, I also took a grad school class. Needless to say, I was more than ready for our August vacation to Colorado. We were enjoying wandering around one of the historic sections of Denver. Much to my surprise, I noticed a building that was clearly labeled, Beatrice Creamery. This took me by surprise since this creamery had strong Southeast Nebraska origins. In fact for many years, the headquarters was actually in Lincoln.

At first when you see the picture, it does not seem to be the same building. That is because they added two floors to the original building.
